Boat & Yacht Detailer Spring Brook Marine — Seneca, IL Position Summary Spring Brook Marine is hiring an experienced Boat & Yacht Detailer for our Seneca, IL location. This role goes beyond washing boats — we need someone who takes real pride in the craft: buffing, waxing, teak restoration, bottom paint, and power washing on luxury vessels. We're looking for a quality-focused, reliable professional who treats every boat like it's their own. Key Responsibilities Wash, buff, and wax hulls, decks, and exteriors to a showroom finish Perform teak cleaning, brightening, and restoration Apply bottom paint on scheduled vessels Power wash hulls, decks, and surrounding work areas Detail interiors, including upholstery, cushions, and hardware Inspect boats before and after service to catch issues early and confirm quality Maintain detailing equipment and supplies, and keep work areas clean and organized Follow safety procedures when working around chemicals, equipment, and vessels in the water or on lifts Qualifications & Requirements Prior boat, yacht, or high-end automotive detailing experience preferred Working knowledge of buffing, waxing, teak care, bottom paint application, and power washing techniques Strong attention to detail and pride in a quality finish Dependable attendance and punctuality — reliability is a must Able to work outdoors and around water in varying weather, including seasonal peak-season hours Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, lifts, or in the water as needed Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Steady, full-time work at an established, growing dealership group Hands-on work with premium boat and yacht brands A team environment that values craftsmanship and reliability How to Apply Interested candidates should contact Spring Brook Marine — Seneca, IL with a resume and any relevant experience.
