: Equipment Prep Overview This critical role drives operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by optimizing vehicle preparation processes. The Equipment Prep Supervisor oversees a team responsible for maintaining a pristine fleet through meticulous cleaning, detailing, and quality control. This position is instrumental in ensuring vehicles are dispatched on time, meeting the highest standards of presentation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedules order of vehicles to be cleaned/detailed based on outbound dispatch
• Schedules cleaning/detail workflow
• Verifies that all assigned work completed on time and to Miller expectations
• Assists in hiring of equipment prep staff
• Responsible for the training, scheduling, coaching and discipline of equipment prep staff
• Moves vehicles to and from parking/wash areas
• Measures/mixes water and cleanser solutions according to recommended proportions
• Washes exterior of vehicles
• Cleans interior of vehicle including restrooms, windows trim, instrument panels, carpets, etc.
• Removes dust, grease, asphalt, concrete, etc from exterior or engine compartment of vehicle using high-pressure washing equipment or solvents
• Polishes trim using polish, wax or other compounds
• May be required to fumigate vehicles with gases or sprays as needed
• May check and replenish some fluid levels in vehicles
• May perform basic maintenance/repair functions on buses
• Follows all Miller, OSHA and DOT safety guidelines and policies
• Other duties as required

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent 5 years of verifiable supervisory experience required Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, materials, machines along with safe work practices Valid driver's license with a good driving record that meets company standards Willingness to learn how to operate a commercial motor vehicle Experience in the use of computer and associated software Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, and adhere to Miller Drug/Alcohol and Employment policies.
