We are looking for a dependable Cleaning Technician who takes pride in their work, communicates well, notices details, and can be trusted in customers' homes and businesses. Previous professional cleaning experience is helpful, but it is not required. Reliability, integrity, coachability, and attention to detail matter just as much. Blue Oak provides paid training on our cleaning procedures and quality standards. Responsibilities Clean residential homes and commercial facilities according to Blue Oak checklists and client-specific scopes Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, sanitize restrooms, clean kitchens and breakrooms, remove trash, and complete routine detail work Properly use company-approved cleaning products, tools, and equipment Complete a final quality-control check before leaving each job Report damage, maintenance concerns, unusual conditions, supply shortages, or scope issues promptly Protect customer property, privacy, keys, access codes, and confidential information Work independently when assigned and as part of a team when scheduled Arrive on time and communicate promptly if an unexpected delay occurs Represent Blue Oak professionally while inside customer homes and businesses What We're Looking For Dependable attendance and punctuality Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Greater Baton Rouge area Ability to follow written checklists, safety instructions, and cleaning procedures Clear communication by phone and text with Blue Oak management Ability to work independently without constant supervision Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including extended standing and walking, bending, reaching, and using cleaning tools Availability for some evening or after-hours cleaning when client schedules require it Willingness to authorize a lawful background check if selected to advance in the hiring process What Blue Oak Offers $19.00 per hour starting pay Part-time W-2 employment Paid training On-the-job training Reliability and quality bonus opportunities Employee referral program Opportunities for advancement as Blue Oak grows This position is a good fit for someone who wants dependable part-time work, takes pride in doing things correctly, and wants an opportunity to grow with a developing local company.
