Sterling Hyundai is looking for a dependable Shop Helper to support our busy Service Department. In this role, you'll help keep the shop organized, clean, and running efficiently by assisting with general shop tasks, transporting parts and equipment, and supporting our technicians with non-technical duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service shop, work areas, and equipment. Sweep, mop, empty trash containers, and perform general housekeeping duties. Transport parts, tools, tires, and equipment throughout the service department. Assist technicians and service personnel with parts retrieval and other non-technical support tasks. Organize and stock parts, supplies, and shop materials as directed. Assist with moving equipment and materials throughout the dealership as needed. Operate company vehicles as authorized and directed. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's values and commitment to teamwork. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Previous warehouse, shop, laborer, maintenance, or automotive support experience preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable work ethic and positive attitude. Professional appearance and work ethic.
Schedule:
