Sterling Automotive Group is looking for motivated individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and being a part of a successful family-owned and operated business. Our Body Shop Detailers are responsible for ensuring every vehicle leaving our shop looks better than ever. If you have the passion for perfection, an eye for detail, and the energy to work in a fast-paced environment, this is the job for you!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Exterior Detailing:
Wash, wax, buff, and polish vehicles to restore their shine and remove imperfections. Clean engine and engine components.
Interior Detailing:
Vacuum, shampoo, and clean upholstery, carpets, and interior surfaces for a fresh, spotless finish. Special-purpose cleaners are utilized to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove. Prep for
Repairs:
Assist in masking and prepping vehicle for paints and bodywork.
Touch-ups:
Address minor cosmetic flaws like scratches and smudges.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished vehicles to ensure every detail meets our high standards Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot

Maintain a
Clean and Safe Environment:
General upkeep of the work area and shop is ongoing, and practicing safe driving procedures and shop safety is of the utmost importance.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience detailing vehicles is a plus, but not necessary for this role A keep eye for detail and pride in delivering top-quality work Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and work in a shop environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screen Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be at least 18 years of age due to insurance purposes
Schedule:
