Shuttle Detailer - PT Saturdays Valet Park of America - 3.5 Worcester, MA Job Details Part-time $20 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Qualifications Material mixing Class D Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Part-Time Shuttle Detailer We are hiring an entry-level technician to wash and detail vehicles in our shuttle fleet. This position will be in Worcester, MA. Saturday mornings from 7 am-noon. Staff will hand-wash, vacuum, sweep, clean windows, etc on our walk-on shuttle vans. If so desired, other hours can be added in a variety of other roles to create a 20, 30, or 40-hour weekly position. Base pay of $20/hour to start. A valid class D drivers license is required, with a background and driving record check. Skills Cleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles, performing any combination of the following duties: Washes vehicle exterior to clean cars, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes. Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using a cloth or buffing machine. Vacuum interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using a vacuum cleaner. Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. Applies revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces, and treats fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components. Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of the product manufacturer. Must be able to understand formulas in order to mix cleaning solutions, paints, and other chemicals. The ability to operate cleaning equipment is essential must know how to efficiently operate hand tools or power tools and follow the safety policies. Maintain an organized working area. Be organized and able to follow schedules and management directions.
