Job description: RideSource Inc is a Maine Based transportation company dedicated to providing safe, reliable transportation services across Maine. We are seeking an Automotive Shop Assistant to support daily shop operations. This role is responsible fro maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment while assisting with basic vehicle maintenance and general shop support.

Key Responsibilities include:

Maintain shop cleanliness including trash removal and general housekeeping; Organize parts, assist with core returns, and support inventory control; Shuttle vehicles to and from various locations as needed; Assist with snow removal as seasonally required; Support technicians and management with general shop needs; Perform light vehicle cleaning, interior and exterior; Complete basic preventative maintenance tasks including oil changes and tire swaps; Jump start vehicles when necessary; Replace wiper blades, headlights, and batteries.

Qualifications Include:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Basic mechanical/automotive knowledge; Ability to stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds; Dependable, punctual, organized, and team oriented; Ability to work in a fast paced shop environment.
