Job Description

Splash N Go Mobile Detailing is growing, and we're looking for one full-time Mobile Detailing Technician to join our team. We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, high-energy, coachable, professional, and proud of the work they produce. You do not need years of detailing experience. We provide paid training and teach you our exact detailing system, service standards, customer-service procedures, and quality-control process. What matters most is your work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, ability to learn, and willingness to maintain a high standard every single day.
IMPORTANT
COMPLETE OUR APPLICATION
To be considered for this position, you must complete our short application form here: >>> [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc0lTsdeXwdlKW52Dtg8F-1kmaUMTmC0FS8UZNWM9SzjQzjsw/viewform?usp=header] Applicants who meet our initial requirements will be contacted for a short phone interview. ⸻ What the Job Is Like This is a hands-on, physically active mobile detailing position. A normal workday will typically involve approximately 2 customer vehicles per day and can run around 8-8.5 hours, including:
  • Detailing vehicles
  • Driving between customer appointments
  • Setting up and breaking down equipment
  • Maintaining and organizing the work van
  • Communicating with customers
  • Completing final quality-control inspections
  • Returning the van and equipment in proper condition Some days may finish earlier or later depending on the vehicles, travel, add-ons, traffic, and job conditions.
This is not a sit-around job. You should be comfortable being on your feet, bending, vacuuming, scrubbing, using detailing equipment, working outdoors, moving efficiently, and maintaining quality throughout the entire day. If you want an easy job where you can move slowly and do the bare minimum, this probably will not be the right fit. If you enjoy working hard, seeing the results of your work, being trusted with responsibility, and getting rewarded for strong performance, you may be a great fit here. ⸻ Compensation This is a W-2 employee position with weekly payroll. Paid Training $15/hour during initial training Once certified to work independently: Regular Compensation 35% commission on completed service revenue
Plus:
  • 100% of your customer tips

  • 50% commission on approved add-on services you personally generate
  • Additional 5 percentage points on the first qualifying service from a brand-new customer you personally generate Strong technicians have the ability to increase their earnings through quality work, efficiency, customer service, tips, add-ons, and performance. ⸻ Your Typical Responsibilities You'll be trained to perform Splash N Go services including:

  • Consistent availability for a full-time schedule Employees are generally scheduled up to 5 days per week and up to 40 hours.
⸻ No Detailing Experience? That's Okay. Previous professional detailing experience is helpful, but it is not required. We would rather train someone with: Great work ethic + reliability + coachability than hire someone with experience who cuts corners or refuses to follow our process. You will go through a structured training and certification program before being trusted to operate independently.
Training includes:
Day 1 — Interior Training Day 2 — Exterior Training Day 3 — Full-Service Assessment Buddy Training on Real Customer Vehicles Certification after demonstrating consistent quality We teach you exactly how Splash N Go expects the work to be performed. ⸻ Our Standard Splash N Go takes quality seriously. We have detailed procedures and quality-control systems because our customers are trusting us with their vehicles and paying for professional results. We do not expect you to know our system on Day 1. We do expect you to learn it, follow it, communicate, take coaching seriously, and consistently improve. If you repeatedly cut corners, ignore procedures, hide mistakes, show up late, or stop caring about quality, this will not be the right company for you. If you follow the system, take pride in what you do, treat customers well, and work hard, we want this to be a place where you can make good money, keep your tips, grow your skills, take on more responsibility, and enjoy the people you work with. ⸻ Hiring Process Our hiring process has several steps so we can make sure the position is a good fit for both sides: Step 1 — Online Application Complete the application below. Step 2 — Short Phone Interview Qualified applicants will receive a call. Step 3 — Video Interview Selected applicants will have a face-to-face video interview with Splash N Go.
