Job Description
Distilled Detail Co. - Holland, MI Part-Time to Full-Time Learn paint correction, ceramic coating, and marine detailing on the job — no experience required, we'll train you. About Us Distilled Detail Co. is a professional automotive and marine detailing company based in Holland, Michigan. We work on daily-driven vehicles, high-end cars, boats, yachts, RVs, and commercial projects throughout West Michigan. We're looking for a dependable, motivated detailer who takes pride in their work and wants to grow in the trade. This isn't just car washing, you'll start with our core detailing processes and, as your skills develop, train in paint correction, polishing, ceramic coatings, marine restoration, and window tinting. Schedule Approx. [20-40] hrs/week; schedule varies with workload and season Some flexibility needed during busy spring/summer months What You'll Be Doing Automotive exterior and interior detailing (washing, vacuuming, steam cleaning, extraction) Stain and odor removal, wheel/tire and surface cleaning Clay bar decontamination, wax and sealant application Marine washing, interior cleaning, and gelcoat cleaning/polishing Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas In-shop and mobile detailing projects As you gain experience, you may train in: machine polishing, paint/gelcoat correction, wet sanding, ceramic coating installation, marine restoration, and automotive or residential/commercial window tint. What We're Looking For Dependable, on time, and detail-oriented Willing to learn and take direction Comfortable with physical work — standing, bending, kneeling, ladders — indoors, outdoors, and around boats Comfortable working mobile/marine jobs in changing weather Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a good driving record Previous detailing, automotive, marine, tinting, body shop, or hands-on experience is a plus, but not required. Work Environment Work is split between our Holland shop and mobile job sites: marinas, docks, storage facilities, and customer properties across West Michigan. Some projects involve ladder work, elevated areas, or extended jobs on larger boats and yachts. Why This Job Is Different Most detailing jobs stay basic.
