Job Description

Mobile Detail Technician About Us:
Aquamen Mobile Detailing is a locally owned and operated professional detailing company serving Wilmington, NC and the surrounding areas. Since 2018, we've built our reputation by providing high quality mobile detailing services with an emphasis on attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service. We maintain a friendly, laid-back work environment while holding high standards for the quality of our work. We're looking for dependable, hardworking people who take pride in what they do and want the opportunity to learn, improve, and grow with the company. Professional detailing experience is preferred, but not required. We provide the training, equipment, tools, and products needed to do the job properly.
Pay & Advancement:
This is a commission-based position , with earnings typically averaging approximately $15-$25+ per hour , depending on workload, position, efficiency, and additional commissions earned.
Current commission structure:
Training:
12.5%
Technician Assistant:
15%
Lead Technician:
20%
Upsells:
Additional 5-10% commission on qualifying services you personally sell
Tips:
Split between employees working on the job Commission rates and compensation structure are subject to change. Advancement is based on performance, reliability, quality of work, efficiency, and demonstrated ability, not simply time employed. Lead Technicians may operate company vehicles, oversee jobs, assist other technicians, and communicate directly with customers.
Schedule:
Part-time and full-time positions available.
Part-time:
Approximately 2-3 days per week
Full-time:
Approximately 4-6 days per week Typical schedule: Approximately 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Many workdays finish around 3:00-4:00 PM depending on the workload Daily hours may vary based on appointments, weather, travel, and workload.
Job Duties:
Perform complete interior and exterior vehicle details Vacuum and deep clean interiors, including cracks, crevices, vents, buttons, seats, consoles, and other detailed areas Carpet/upholstery extraction, steam cleaning, leather care, pet-hair and odor removal Exterior washing, wheels, tires, glass, trim, and paint decontamination Engine-bay detailing Assist with and learn machine polishing, paint correction, and ceramic coatings Perform automotive and boat detailing services Set up, break down, clean, and organize detailing equipment Follow company procedures, checklists, and quality-control standards Maintain a professional appearance and interact respectfully with customers Work efficiently as part of a detailing team

Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including summer heat Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs Reliable attendance and punctuality If you're dependable, enjoy hands-on work, take pride in doing things the right way, and want to learn professional detailing with an opportunity to advance, we'd like to hear from you.
