Russ' Car Wash is a small, locally owned and operated car wash where every employee, every customer, and every vehicle matters. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking team member who enjoys staying active, working with customers, and takes pride in doing a job well. This is NOT a sit-down job. We work outdoors, stay moving, and can get very busy — especially on nice days and during winter salt season. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a sense of urgency, and attention to detail. What You'll Do Everyone on our team is trained in all three main positions: Prep vehicles using pressure washers and bug scrub Towel dry vehicles after the wash Cashier and customer service Assist customers and keep the line moving during busy periods Help teammates wherever needed Perform general cleaning and basic upkeep during slower periods — there is always something to do Our goal isn't just to move cars through quickly. We want every customer to leave with a clean car and a great experience. Schedule This position is primarily daytime hours. Start times vary depending on weather and business volume, typically between approximately 8:00-11:00 AM, with shifts generally ending around 3:00-4:00 PM . We are looking for someone with broad availability throughout the week, including the ability to work some weekends when needed. Because we are a weather-dependent business, schedules can occasionally change. During winter weather and salt season, we may need employees earlier, and those are often some of our busiest days. Cash tips are distributed daily among the team working that shift. Tip distribution is also based on work performance, so employees who consistently work hard, stay productive, help the team, and provide quality service may receive a larger share of the tips. Total earnings typically average approximately $15-$20+ per hour, depending on business volume, tips, and individual work performance. Paychecks are issued weekly.
