Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer (1099 Contractor) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of vehicles, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and use of cleaning equipment to achieve a spotless finish Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore vehicle shine and remove surface imperfections Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to ensure a pristine appearance Operate standard passenger cars with care, including manual transmission vehicles, following safe work practices at all times Use appropriate tools and equipment for auto detailing tasks while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the auto detailing facility Heavy lifting of vehicles or equipment as needed to facilitate thorough cleaning and detailing processes Maintain vehicle cleanliness standards throughout the process, ensuring each car leaves in showroom condition Qualifications Prior experience in auto detailing, car wash operations, or custodial work is preferred but not require Knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques and automotive buffing tools is a plus Familiarity with standard passenger car operation, including manual transmissions, is desirable Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols during all tasks Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties Experience with cleaning equipment, auto detailing facilities, or janitorial/custodial work enhances suitability for this role Join our team as an Automotive Detailer (1099 Contractor) and bring your passion for cars and attention to detail to life!
