Portland Specialty Baking, a contract specialty baking manufacturing company located at 3423 NE 172nd Pl, Portland, OR 97230 is now hiring for an entry level sanitation position for the following shifts

Night Shift:

10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Must be available all days of the week)

Job Summary:

The Sanitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the bakery facility, including equipment, floors, restrooms, and common areas. This role ensures compliance with food safety standards and contributes to a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble various types of food production equipment Follow all sanitation and safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals Maintain cleanliness of work areas, production lines, and facility as needed Work efficiently to complete sanitation tasks during scheduled downtime Adhere to company policies and food safety regulations

Qualifications:

Some manufacturing sanitation experience preferred, but not required Ability to read and write in English and communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish Must be able to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical handling Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
