Job description Porter/Valet Are you friendly and a good communicator? Then we want you on our team! The Ray Price Dealerships are growing and we're looking for a porter/valet to assist our sales team. Car dealership is experience is a plus but not a requirement. Porters have the potential to grow into service advisors, sales representatives, and more!
What You'll Do:
Deliver a welcoming, sales-oriented first impression by greeting service customers and identifying opportunities to enhance their experience Verify vehicle mileage and assist in positioning vehicles efficiently to support a smooth, high-volume workflow Assist with shuttling customers Assist salespersons and sales managers Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, wipe down doorjambs, wax and buff when needed. Clean/vacuum upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agent, applicators, and cleaning devices. Apply revitalizers, special-purpose cleaners, and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot - and stain - resistant chemicals. Apply dressing on tires and tire wells. Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation. Report these to used car manager. Restore appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces, by using touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials. Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection. Operate all tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe manner. Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times. Ensure proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle. Other duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required Current and valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Positive attitude with teammates and customers Bi-lingual always a plus Professional appearance and work ethic All potential employees must pass a pre-employment testing including a background check
