We are specifically looking for someone who has worked in a professional dealership, reconditioning center, or automotive detailing operation and already understands proper detailing techniques, chemicals, and equipment. If you have experience with a company such as MetroTech Automotive, a franchise dealership detail department, or a similar professional automotive reconditioning operation, we would especially like to hear from you. This is not just a car-washing position. We need someone who knows how to evaluate a vehicle and select the appropriate product and process for the job. You should already be comfortable with: Interior and exterior vehicle detailing Proper use of automotive cleaning chemicals and knowing which product to use on different surfaces Removing stains, dirt, grease, odors, and buildup without damaging materials Cleaning leather, vinyl, plastics, carpets, upholstery, wheels, tires, glass, and exterior finishes Using detailing equipment efficiently and safely Preparing used vehicles to dealership-ready condition Working efficiently while still producing consistent, quality results Additional responsibilities include: Moving and organizing vehicles on the lot Taking vehicles to and from mechanic shops, body shops, and other service facilities Picking up vehicles when repairs or body work are completed Keeping vehicles clean and ready for customers Maintaining the detail area and supplies Helping keep the dealership lot organized Assisting with other vehicle and lot-related tasks as needed We're looking for someone who is: Experienced — detailing experience is a must Dependable and consistently on time Efficient and able to work independently Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing the job correctly Comfortable working outdoors Comfortable driving different makes and models of vehicles Able to safely drive and park vehicles Has a valid driver's license and a good driving record We're a small, family-owned dealership that has been in business for 9 years , and we're looking for someone dependable who would like a stable, long-term position with our team.
