Overview CARLYLE is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive & Equipment Detailer to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our company vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery. This position plays an important role in keeping our fleet clean, professional, and ready for use. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works efficiently without sacrificing quality, and is comfortable working around construction vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities Wash, clean, and detail company trucks, automobiles, trailers, and construction equipment Clean vehicle and equipment interiors, including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows, and removing debris Pressure-wash heavy equipment, machinery, undercarriages, wheels, and other exterior surfaces Remove dirt, mud, grease, concrete residue, and other job-site materials Wax, polish, and apply protective products when needed Organize and maintain detailing supplies, tools, and cleaning areas Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when additional products are needed Inspect vehicles and equipment while cleaning and report visible damage, leaks, or maintenance concerns Move vehicles and equipment around the property when authorized Follow all company safety procedures when using cleaning products, pressure washers, ladders, and other equipment Properly dispose of waste and cleaning materials Assist with general shop, yard, or fleet-related duties as needed Qualifications Previous automotive detailing, equipment cleaning, fleet maintenance, or construction experience is preferred but not required Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate vehicles and maneuver around heavy equipment Strong attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work efficiently Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions Knowledge of detailing products, pressure-washing equipment, and cleaning techniques is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and reach for extended periods Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to climb into trucks, equipment cabs, and trailers Ability to work around water, cleaning chemicals, dirt, grease, noise, and active equipment Ability to perform physical work indoors and outdoors throughout the year

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
