Automotive Detailer -
Music City Mitsubishi Location:
Nashville, TN (Music City Mitsubishi)
Job Type:
Full-Time Music City Mitsubishi is looking for a meticulous, high-energy Automotive Detailer to join our fast-paced service and sales team. Whether it is prepping a brand-new Outlander for its first owner or restoring the shine to a customer's trade-in, our Detailers are the final touch that guarantees an exceptional dealership experience. We are looking for someone who takes immense pride in their work, loves the satisfaction of a perfect finish, and wants to grow within a premier automotive team. What You Will Do As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive cleaning and reconditioning of both new and pre-owned inventory, as well as customer vehicles.
Interior Detailing:
Deep clean, vacuum, shampoo, and deodorize vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, and hard surfaces.
Exterior Detailing:
Wash, wax, polish, and buff vehicle exteriors to eliminate imperfections and protect the clear coat.
Engine & Undercarriage:
Safely clean and degrease engine compartments and wheel wells.
Delivery Prep:
Perform final quality inspections on sold vehicles to ensure they are immaculate before the customer takes the keys.
Lot Maintenance:
Assist in keeping the showroom and outdoor inventory clean, presentable, and frontline-ready.
Inventory Management:
Monitor detailing supplies and chemicals, notifying the service manager when restocking is required.
What We Are Looking For Experience:
Previous automotive detailing or car wash experience is highly preferred, but we will train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic. Attention to
Detail:
An eagle eye for spotting smudges, streaks, or missed spots.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and move actively throughout the workday in varying weather conditions.
Valid Driver's License:
Must have a clean driving record and the ability to safely maneuver vehicles in tight spaces (both manual and automatic transmissions).
Team Player:
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to help out the service and sales departments when things get busy.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
