Job Description

Job Summary:
The detailer plays a key support role in ensuring dealership vehicles are prepared, presentable, and ready for customer delivery. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including cleaning and detailing vehicles, transporting vehicles between lots or service areas, fueling vehicles, and assisting with general dealership needs. The Make Ready Specialist is a flexible "jack of all trades" who helps maintain smooth dealership operations by jumping in wherever needed to support the sales and service teams.

None .
Duties/Responsibilities:
Knowledge in exterior and interior cleaning. Knowledge in stain removal. Maintaining a supply of cleaning products and tools, ordering new supplies as needed. Transporting vehicles to and from lots, service, gas stations, or other dealership locations. Assisting with lot organization and vehicle placement. Ensuring vehicles are fueled and ready for customer delivery or test drives. Supporting general dealership tasks as assigned.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements:
Frequent bending, stopping, twisting, and kneeling. Must be able to safely operate dealership vehicles, including standard and automatic transmissions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
