Job Description
Position Summary Emerald Luxury Coaches is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Motor Coach Detailer to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our luxury motor coaches. This position is responsible for thoroughly washing, cleaning, and detailing both the interior and exterior of coaches to ensure every unit meets Emerald Luxury Coaches' high standards of quality and presentation before customer delivery. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Wash and clean the exterior of luxury motor coaches using proper equipment and cleaning products. Hand dry, polish, and apply wax or protective coatings as needed. Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, and exterior trim. Vacuum and thoroughly clean all interior surfaces, including floors, carpeting, upholstery, cabinetry, countertops, windows, mirrors, and fixtures. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas. Remove dust, fingerprints, smudges, and debris from all interior surfaces. Restock consumable items and prepare coaches for customer delivery. Perform final quality inspections to ensure coaches are showroom and delivery ready. Identify and report cosmetic damage, defects, or maintenance concerns to supervisors. Safely operate pressure washers, vacuums, buffers, polishers, and other detailing equipment. Maintain detailing equipment and keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Support production and service teams as needed to meet delivery schedules. Qualifications Previous automotive, RV, bus, or motor coach detailing experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and climb ladders for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate detailing equipment and use cleaning chemicals. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of vehicle washing and detailing techniques. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Commitment to maintaining a clean, professional, and safe work environment. Pride in producing high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail. Working Conditions Manufacturing and service facility environment. Exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, noise, and varying temperatures.
