Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Marine Detailer to join the team at Adventure Marine & Powersports. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and detailing both customer watercraft and new units being prepared for their new owners. Your work will directly contribute to the appearance, presentation, and overall customer experience of every watercraft that leaves our dealership. This is an active, hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys seeing the results of a job well done. You will work both independently and alongside other departments to keep our watercraft, shop, and showroom looking clean, organized, and professional. Duties Thoroughly wash and clean watercraft inside and out, including power washing exterior surfaces and cleaning interior areas. Vacuum, wipe down, and detail boat interiors, including seating, floors, dashboards, compartments, and other surfaces. Prepare new watercraft for delivery by ensuring they are clean, presentable, and ready for their new owners. Clean and maintain customer watercraft to a high standard, recognizing that each unit represents someone's investment and recreation. Move in and out of watercraft frequently throughout the workday while performing cleaning and detailing tasks. Assist other departments as needed, including putting parts and inventory away, updating the placement board, and placing price tags on merchandise. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the showroom, including dusting and wiping down displays and showroom items. Perform light laundry duties, including washing and maintaining shop towels. Clean and maintain bathrooms and other common areas. Keep cleaning supplies, equipment, and work areas organized and ready for use. Follow proper safety procedures when using pressure washers, vacuums, cleaning chemicals, and other shop equipment. Assist with miscellaneous shop and dealership tasks as needed. Requirements Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work. Customer watercraft must be returned exceptionally clean and well-presented. Dependable and willing to contribute wherever help is needed. Ability to work independently while also working effectively with the rest of the team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when handling equipment, supplies, or other items. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout an 8-hour shift. Ability to frequently enter and exit watercraft throughout the workday. Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and follow instructions for cleaning products and procedures. Must be willing to work in an active shop environment and outdoors as needed. Must pass a drug test. Previous detailing, cleaning, janitorial, marine, automotive, or shop experience is a plus, but not required . Training will be provided to the right individual. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. Additional Information This is a hands-on position with a high workload, and we are looking for someone who is ready to work hard, take pride in what they do, and become an important part of our team. We offer full-time and part-time positions with a schedule of Monday through Friday with alternating Saturdays .
