Experienced Automotive Detailer —
Full-Time Location:
Salt Lake City and Murray About Teph Seal Teph Seal provides professional automotive detailing and appearance services to dealerships across the country. We offer a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where dependable employees can develop their skills and grow with the company. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced automotive detailer to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, takes pride in their work, and consistently delivers high-quality vehicles in a fast-paced dealership environment. Responsibilities Perform complete interior and exterior vehicle details. Wash, vacuum, shampoo, polish, and prepare vehicles for delivery or sale. Inspect finished vehicles to ensure they meet dealership and Teph Seal quality standards. Work efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail. Safely use, maintain, and care for detailing equipment and chemicals. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Communicate with team members and leadership to keep vehicle flow moving. Qualifications Previous professional automotive detailing experience required. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day. Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals, wet conditions, and varying weather. Saturday availability required. Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening. Schedule Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. until close, typically around 8:00 p.m. Scheduled days and hours may vary depending on dealership volume and business needs. Compensation This is a production-based, flat-rate position. Based on current production, most detailers earn approximately $600-$800 per week , with experienced, high-producing detailers typically earning $700-$1,000 per week . Actual earnings depend on productivity, quality, attendance, and available work volume.
