  • $18•20+/hr + Tips Peak Detail is looking for an experienced, dependable Mobile Auto Detailer to join our growing team.
This is a primarily solo position. You'll be provided with a company detailing van, fuel, equipment and supplies and will travel to customers throughout the Vancouver/Camas/Washougal area. We're looking for someone who can be trusted to work independently, stay on schedule, communicate professionally with customers, and consistently deliver high-quality work. What You'll Do Perform complete interior and exterior vehicle details according to Peak Detail's service standards and procedures Wash, decontaminate, wax/protect, vacuum, shampoo, steam clean and perform other detailing services as assigned Complete a final quality-control inspection before leaving every job Follow job checklists and upload required completion photos/documentation Arrive at appointments on time and prepared to work Communicate professionally with customers and management Keep the company van, equipment and supplies clean, organized and ready for the next appointment Properly maintain detailing tools and equipment Complete work thoroughly while staying within reasonable scheduled job times Perform only authorized services and procedures. Additional work or vehicle disassembly outside the scheduled service requires approval. What We're Looking For Prior professional auto detailing experience required Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable, self-motivated and comfortable working independently Strong attention to detail Good time-management skills and ability to stay on schedule Able to follow established processes and checklists consistently Professional communication and customer-service skills Professional, clean and well-groomed appearance Sales experience is a plus High school diploma or GED Ability to safely operate detailing equipment and company vehicles We're looking for someone who understands that a great detail requires both quality and efficiency. Taking pride in your work matters, but so does completing the service that was sold and keeping the day's schedule moving. Pay & Schedule Training rate: $18/hour + tips Starting rate after successful training: $20/hour + tips Higher pay may be available based on professional detailing experience, performance and ability to work independently.
Schedule:
Monday-FridayDaytime appointments with opportunities for additional hours We can discuss preferred weekly schedules during the interview, but reliability and availability for your agreed-upon schedule are required. Physical Requirements This is a physically active position. You must be able to regularly bend, kneel, squat, reach above and below shoulder level, work around vehicles for extended periods, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. The position involves working outdoors and around detailing chemicals, water, dust, vehicle interiors and moderate equipment noise. Interested?
