Illusions Food Company is a wholesale manufacturing bakery located in Anchorage, Alaska. We prepare a large quantity of baked goods and deli items each day, including cookies, muffins, brownies, cakes, bars/squares, biscotti, scones, cinnamon rolls, etc.

Shift:

6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday only. No other shift available. Position may require limited overtime, as needed to complete baking process for the day. Please only apply if this time works within your schedule. We are looking for a Dishwasher / Cleaning position in our Bakery Production team. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Thoroughly clean large mixing bowls, pans, trays, baking utensils, etc. each day.
• Prioritize cleaning mixing bowls and items required to minimize disruption to baking schedule.
• Properly put clean dishes away in correct locations.
• Properly fill and maintain 3 compartment sink.
• Empty and clean grease trap per equipment instructions.
• Maintain any logs required by position.
• Clean restrooms and breakroom daily.
• If needed, assist with deliveries of incoming ingredients. Help put away correctly in storage.
• Assist Bakery Production team to prepare, finish, package, and label bakery and food products as needed or as time permits.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area. Ensure proper equipment and facility cleaning practices and maintain food code compliant facility at all times.

Physical Demands:

• Include but are not limited to: balancing, bending, carrying, climbing (foot stool or ladder), kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, squatting, standing, twisting, walking.
• Ability to carry/lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds at all times.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures (cooler, freezer, oven, outside, etc.).
• Work in dish cleaning area with exposure to water and moisture.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours daily.

Position/Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Speak, read and understand the English language.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• State of Alaska or Municipality of Anchorage Food Workers Card (within 30 days of hire) and/or ServSafe Certification.
