Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support food service operations by ensuring dishes are properly cleaned, tables are promptly cleared, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant is upheld. Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is a plus, but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced culinary setting and develop skills in restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is one who has stamina to work, cares about their job, and is ideally looking to grow their skills in a kitchen environment. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently to ensure timely availability for staff and guests Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to maintain a clean dining area Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic kitchen support and ingredient handling Support banquet and catering events by providing timely cleaning and setup assistance Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by following sanitation standards Assist with food handling duties in accordance with safety guidelines Support serving staff by delivering items to tables when necessary Ensure all work areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong cleaning skills and knowledge of sanitation standards Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 40 pounds) as needed Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays if required A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to culinary service and hospitality This is a part-time position for 2-3 days/week, depending on interest and availability .
