Responsibilities Operate dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean all cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients for pizza and other menu items. Prepare pizzas by applying toppings accurately and baking them to perfection using oven equipment. Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by regularly sanitizing surfaces, washing dishes, and disposing of waste properly. Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas quickly and efficiently to ensure smooth service flow. Follow all food handling protocols to uphold high standards of sanitation and safety in accordance with health regulations. Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of supplies and equipment while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus. Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper cleaning procedures. Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, and prep stations safely and effectively. Strong knife skills for food prep tasks like slicing vegetables or meats. Physical stamina for standing long hours, heavy lifting, and performing manual handling duties comfortably. Excellent attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health standards. A positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and teamwork; previous catering or banquet experience is advantageous.
