Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly. Assist with food preparation as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support banquet services by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for events. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service periods. Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Help with stocking supplies and organizing storage areas to ensure efficiency in the kitchen. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in bussing tables or serving is a plus. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary skills is beneficial. Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of hygiene. A team player attitude with excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with kitchen staff. Experience in catering or banquet services is advantageous but not required.
