Responsibilities Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes and resetting dining areas promptly to maintain a welcoming environment. Support the kitchen team by handling manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving equipment safely. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen and dining areas by adhering to sanitation standards and restaurant health and safety protocols. Operate kitchen equipment responsibly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other necessary tools for food service. Follow food safety management practices to ensure proper handling of food items and uphold hygiene standards at all times. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards within a restaurant setting. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers. Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and sinks is advantageous. Availability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced hospitality environment; previous catering or hospitality experience is a plus.
