Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized, contributing to a smooth operation in a fast-paced environment. A background in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper disposal of waste. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and cooking support. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a tidy environment for guests. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service times. Perform routine cleaning tasks in the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus. Knowledge of food handling safety standards is beneficial for maintaining hygiene in the workplace. Strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
