Job Description

Job Summary This position is under the supervision of the Lead Cook. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards of all small wares and equipment. The position also ensures the dishwashing are is maintained clean, safe and sanitary. Duties Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand. Wash pots, pans, utensils and trays by hand based on assigned procedures. Air dry and put away. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation. Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards. Replace dish water and sanitizer as needed during shift. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Washes worktables and other food prep surfaces including tilt skillet, stove and ovens. Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Hoses out garbage cans. Helps load and unload supplies and products. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older A vali AZ Driver's License and 36 month driving record All applicants must have a current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance or must pass fingerprint clearance and Central Registry background check. Continuance of employment will be dependent upon successful clearance. Must be able to obtain a Pinal County Health Department Food Handler's permit within 30 days of employment. Must be able to effectively develop working relationships with other personnel. Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with people of various social, cultural, educational and ethnic backgrounds. Work is performed in a commercial kitchen, with risks of burns and cuts; moderate physical demands with frequent standing, lifting, carrying and moving up to 75 pounds of food, materials and equipment.

$17.00 per hour
