This role involves maintaining cleanliness, ensuring food safety standards, and assisting with food preparation to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, committed to sanitation, and capable of operating kitchen equipment safely. Duties Perform dishwashing duties to ensure all utensils, cookware, and dishware are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the kitchen area. Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers and other small appliances. Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Support the kitchen team in maintaining organized workstations and stock levels. Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to sanitation procedures regularly. Requirements Prior experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety practices. Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and basic kitchen tools safely. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends.
