Overview Join our culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be the backbone of our food service operation, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced restaurant setting, supporting chefs and food service staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your dedication to cleanliness and safety will help uphold our high standards of food safety management and sanitation. Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper food safety sanitizing procedures. Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning machinery safely and effectively. Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure sanitation compliance. Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of large pots or crates of supplies while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques. Support the kitchen team during busy periods by maintaining cleanliness standards in food prep areas and adhering to food handling protocols. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous. Basic knowledge of operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or commercial cleaning tools is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week
