Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized Clean and maintain kitchen and common areas Take out trash and recycling as needed Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards Help maintain a clean and safe environment for the team Adhere strictly to kitchen health and safety standards, including proper use of knives and operating kitchen equipment safely. Support food safety management practices by ensuring all cleaning routines meet sanitation requirements. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service times. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation practices is advantageous. Experience with dishwashing or kitchen cleaning duties in a fast-paced setting will help you excel in this role. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation, including commercial dishwashers and basic kitchen tools such as knives, is a plus. A strong understanding of food safety principles and restaurant health standards is beneficial for maintaining a safe working environment.
