In this dual role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in food handling and preparation, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized after use. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all staff and guests. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Help with inventory management by keeping track of supplies and reporting shortages. Support the overall operations of the kitchen by performing additional tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and improve culinary skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
