We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Overnight Kitchen Detail Cleaner to help maintain our catering kitchens after events. This position is responsible for completing the final cleaning and reset of our kitchens after the event team has finished for the night. Responsibilities Complete detailed cleaning and final reset of catering kitchens following events Inspect kitchens after the event team has completed breakdown and identify areas requiring additional cleaning Clean floors, walls, work surfaces, sinks, drains, shelving, equipment exteriors, and other kitchen areas Clean hard-to-reach areas and details that may be missed during normal event cleanup Sweep, mop, scrub, degrease, and sanitize kitchen surfaces as required Remove trash and recycling and replace liners as needed Follow all required cleaning, sanitation, chemical-handling, and safety procedures Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies or equipment need to be replenished or replaced Work efficiently to complete assigned kitchens within the scheduled shift Move between multiple kitchens or work areas during a shift when required Report damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or unusual conditions to management Perform other related cleaning and kitchen-support duties as assigned Qualifications Required Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently Ability to follow cleaning procedures and instructions Ability to work overnight hours and weekends Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor Ability to maintain a clean and professional work environment Preferred Cleaning experience Experience working overnight or late-night shifts Familiarity with commercial cleaning products and equipment Experience working around commercial kitchen equipment Physical Requirements This position requires regular physical activity, including: Standing and walking for extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and crouching Lifting and carrying items as part of normal kitchen cleaning and reset duties Moving equipment, supplies, containers, and other items as needed to properly clean work areas Performing repetitive cleaning motions such as scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, wiping, and lifting Working in commercial kitchen environments Schedule This is a full-time overnight position A typical shift may begin around 11:00PM-12:00AM after the event team has completed its work and may continue for approximately eight hours. Because our business is event-driven, employee should be comfortable with some variation in their schedule and occasional changes based on event volume.
