Station Setup:
Stock and prep the station with all necessary ingredients and tools before service.
Communication:
Coordinate with other cooks and servers to make sure orders come out at the same time.
Cleanliness:
Keep the work area clean, sanitize surfaces, and store leftover food properly.
Ingredient Prep:
Wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice vegetables, fruits, and proteins.
Batch Cooking:
Make dressings, sauces, batters, and pre-cook basic items as directed.
Storage & Labeling:
Put away deliveries, label containers with dates, and rotate stock using first-in, first-out methods.
Washing:
Scrape, load, and run plates, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans through commercial dish machines. Handwash delicate items.
Area Upkeep:
Keep the dish station organized, change water and detergent in sinks or machines regularly, and empty trash cans.
Restocking:
