We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Dishwasher to support our kitchen team. This position plays an important role in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently throughout the day. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in cleanliness, and is willing to help wherever needed. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment Keep dishwashing areas clean, organized, and properly stocked Maintain a steady flow of clean dishes and equipment throughout service Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, sinks, floors, equipment, and other areas as needed Properly dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste Assist with keeping the kitchen organized and free of clutter Restock dishes, containers, and kitchen supplies throughout the shift Assist kitchen staff with basic prep and other tasks when needed Receive, move, and put away supplies and deliveries as directed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Properly handle cleaning chemicals and equipment Assist with opening and closing kitchen cleaning duties Communicate with kitchen and management teams regarding supply or equipment needs Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned Physical Requirements This is a physically active, hands-on position requiring: Ability to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving supplies Ability to work around water, heat, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment Ability to work efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and safety Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout a shift Qualifications Previous dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, or café experience preferred Reliable and punctual Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Willingness to follow instructions and established procedures Positive attitude and willingness to help the team Food Handler certification preferred or ability to obtain one as required What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, clean, organized, and team-oriented.
