Prep Cook and Dishwasher, Plentiful Kitchen About us Plentiful Kitchen is a meal delivery service based in Oakland. and we are looking for prep/dishwasher person for around 20 hours a week on Sun-Tue 7:30-4pm The role This is a combined prep and dishwasher position. You'll be doing hands on food prep for our weekly menu and keeping the kitchen's dishes, pots, and equipment clean and moving throughout the shift. It's a physical, active role that keeps the kitchen running. What you'll do Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and prep equipment throughout the shift so the kitchen never backs up at the sink. Prep ingredients for the week's menu: washing, chopping, portioning, and organizing produce, proteins, and pantry items to recipe specs. Keep prep and dish stations clean and organized as you go, following our sanitation standards. Help receive deliveries, rotate stock, and keep walk ins and dry storage organized. Jump in wherever the lead cooks need support to keep production on schedule. Follow food safety and allergen protocols carefully, since we run a strict gluten free and dairy free kitchen. What we're looking for Commercial kitchen experience preferred, prep or dish experience both required Comfortable on your feet for a full shift and able to move between prep and dish duties as needed. Reliable, on time, and works well as part of a small team. Food handler card, or willing to get one.

$22 to $23 per hour, depending on experience
