The Hacienda Mission San Luis Rey is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cookware are cleaned efficiently to support smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware using commercial dishwashing equipment and by hand as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen workspaces. Dispose of trash and recyclables properly and keep dumpster area clean. Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and kitchen cleaning duties as required. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a hygienic work environment. Report any maintenance issues or broken equipment to management promptly. Requirements Prior experience in a dishwasher or similar role preferred but not required. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Good teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Benefits Compensation of $18.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
