The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the overall efficiency of food service operations in our restaurant or hotel setting. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to support front-of-house staff. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and properly stored after use. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Willingness to assist with various kitchen duties beyond dishwashing as needed.
