Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and dining spaces in compliance with sanitation standards Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and assisting in maintaining a tidy dining environment Operate basic kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, mixers, and food prep tools Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury Follow food safety management protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards within a commercial kitchen setting Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts Basic knife skills and familiarity with food preparation processes are advantageous Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning routines and food handling practices Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where teamwork drives excellence!
