Our Dishwasher/Food Prep is an essential part of our culinary team, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently, safely, and without interruption. This role requires reliability, organization, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a team, and understands that every clean plate, polished glass, and sanitized workstation contributes directly to the guest experience. Success in this role comes from consistency, urgency, and a willingness to support others wherever needed. Primary Responsibilities Dishwashing & Sanitation
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Keep dishwashing equipment clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Ensure all kitchen items are returned promptly to support uninterrupted service.
- Inspect dishes and equipment to ensure they meet cleanliness standards before returning them to use. Kitchen Support & Food Preparation
- Assist the culinary team with basic food preparation as directed by the Executive Chef or Head Chef.
- Wash, peel, chop, portion, and prepare vegetables, fruits, herbs, and other ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
- Prepare simple recipes, sauces, dressings, garnishes, and other prep items after receiving proper training.
- Accurately label, date, rotate, and properly store all prepared food.
- Maintain clean and organized prep stations while adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Restock ingredients and kitchen supplies to ensure the culinary team is prepared for service.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, and properly storing products.
- Transition seamlessly between food preparation and dishwashing responsibilities based on the needs of the kitchen.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new culinary skills and support the team wherever needed. Teamwork
- Support both front-of-house and back-of-house teams with a positive attitude and willingness to help.
- Communicate effectively when additional support or supplies are needed.
- Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Take ownership of keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and prepared for every shift.

- Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
