Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are impeccably cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following proper food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including cleaning vegetables or organizing supplies Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting used dishware to the dishwashing station Operate commercial dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and effectively Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by adhering to sanitation standards and health regulations Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of large pots or crates of supplies with proper technique to prevent injury Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices is advantageous Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen safety protocols are a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of food safety management principles is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided Previous banquet or catering experience can be an asset but is not essential Join us as a Dishwasher and become an integral part of our culinary team!
