Responsibilities Operate dishwashing machines and manual cleaning stations to thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Handle heavy lifting of large pots, trays, and bulk supplies safely and efficiently Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, and equipment throughout shifts Adhere to all kitchen health and safety standards to promote a safe working environment for all staff Skills Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures Experience with dishwashing equipment operation and manual handling techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Basic food handling skills with an understanding of kitchen health standards Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as sinks, dishwashers, and sanitation tools Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, including banquet or catering settings Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization in high-pressure environments Join us as a Dishwasher to contribute to a vibrant culinary team where your dedication to cleanliness and safety helps create memorable dining experiences.
