Responsibilities Thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high sanitation standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients following recipe guidelines Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and maintaining a tidy work environment Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, slicers, and other small appliances Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of ingredients Aid in meal preparation and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and prep tasks efficiently Qualifications Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Experience with menu planning, food preparation, or culinary tasks is a plus Knowledge of food safety management and adherence to safety standards in production environments Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, slicers, knives, and cooking appliances Strong understanding of food handling procedures and proper sanitation practices Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff Previous restaurant or catering experience is advantageous but not required Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably Join us in creating a vibrant culinary environment where cleanliness meets creativity!
