Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as a Dishwasher, Food Prep, and Line Cook Assistant! Whether you're washing dishes, prepping ingredients for the line or grilling up burgers, your contribution is vital to our success. We are a small kitchen and we work as a team to produce an amazing product. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to sanitation standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies to support the culinary team. Support the lead line cooks with all aspects. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other small appliances. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy supplies or equipment safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices. Contribute to overall kitchen sanitation by cleaning workstations and adhering to kitchen health and safety standards at all times. Requirements Previous food service experience or familiarity is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety management principles. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout shifts. Basic knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment. Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Mostly evening and nights, particularly weekends
Pay:
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
