Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Weekend Dishwasher, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas. This energetic position is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about food safety, hygiene, and supporting culinary operations. As a Weekend Dishwasher, you'll ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless, sanitized, and ready for service, contributing to a safe and efficient food service experience for our guests and staff alike. Duties Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support the culinary team. Clear and bus tables promptly to maintain cleanliness in dining areas. Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Follow strict sanitation standards to ensure compliance with health regulations and kitchen health and safety standards. Support overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and maintaining organized workspaces throughout your shift. Skills Strong understanding of food safety management and sanitation practices. Experience with dishwashing procedures in a restaurant or catering environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers and prep tools. Knowledge of food handling protocols to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently. Basic knife skills for assisting with food prep when necessary. Previous restaurant or culinary experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 per week
