Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff Buse tables and clear dining areas promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, sinks, and food prep tools Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, boxes of supplies, and bulk ingredients with proper technique to prevent injury Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety standards Support the team during busy service periods by managing dishwashing loads and assisting with light food prep tasks as needed Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures required Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Basic knife skills for food prep tasks preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and organization Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting Prior experience with catering or banquet service is advantageous but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your contributions directly impact the quality of our guests' experience.
