Each of the Hotel's 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building's legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan - a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan. We are looking for... experienced and passionate Dishwasher for Riggs Washington DC, a brand-new independent hotel opening early 2020. Our preferred candidate would have luxury or independent hospitality experience in the Washington DC market. Our ideal candidate thrives in a non-stop environment, has an open mind and a great sense of humor, and loves finding solutions, working with a team and proactively creating positive outcomes. The ability to be adaptable, calm under pressure, resourceful and efficient is in your DNA. Core Essential Functions Ensure cleanliness of all Food & Beverage materials and areas. Operate dishwasher equipment and ensure breakage is kept to a minimum. Assist culinary team when possible. Monitor China, glass and silverware inventory levels and report any shortages. This position requires the following knowledge, skills, and abilities. Hotel Experience is not required - Fun and welcoming personality is a MUST Must have a positive attitude Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations Flexible schedule is required to meet the needs of the business
Hourly Rate:
