The Kitchen Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment, which is essential for food safety and overall hygiene. This position involves thorough cleaning of all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The Kitchen Cleaner will also be responsible for organizing cleaning supplies and ensuring that all areas are stocked and ready for use. By performing these duties diligently, the Kitchen Cleaner contributes to the efficiency of kitchen operations and the well-being of staff and members alike. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a kitchen or food service environment.

MANDATORY

: Must pass a criminal background check Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing kitchen floors and surfaces. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances to ensure they are in good working order. Dispose of waste and recyclables following health and safety regulations. Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor. Assist in deep cleaning tasks as scheduled, including ovens, refrigerators, and storage areas. Other duties may be assigned.
