Overview Lazy Jacks Provisions is looking for a dependable, hard-working Kitchen Prep & Dishwasher to keep our kitchen running smoothly during daytime lunch service. You will help slice and prep fresh ingredients before service and keep dishes, prep tables, and cookware clean and organized throughout the day.
What You'll Do Ingredient Prep:
Wash, chop, slice, and portion produce, meats, cheeses, and sandwich toppings according to recipes and standards.
Keep Stations Stocked:
Help the line stay stocked with fresh prep containers and backups before and during lunch.
Dishwashing:
Wash, sanitize, and put away dishes, utensils, prep pans, and kitchen tools quickly and safely.
Kitchen Cleanliness:
Take out trash, sweep/mop as needed, and wipe down prep areas to keep a clean, tidy back of house.
Team Support:
Pitch in with basic back-of-house tasks to support the line during peak lunch hours. What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and ready to hustle. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools. Maintain high standards of cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen surfaces regularly to uphold food safety standards. Support meal preparation by organizing ingredients and assisting chefs with basic cooking tasks under supervision. Follow strict safety standards in production areas to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all staff. Assist with general cleaning duties in the kitchen area to maintain hygiene standards required in the food industry.
